a couple months ago i finally got to see a pain dr about the nerve damage in the arm i shattered 17 years ago... he reccomended a stellate ganglion block to quiet the damaged nerves... i said ok
then they submitted it to the wrong insurance company... and i had to wait a month for them to figure out what insurance company was printed on the card i handed them
so finally i get a call to set it up, and its sposed to happen tomorrow... she told me they would call beforehand and give instructions, like dont eat after midnight, and others
well, they never called... im sposed to go in for it early tomorrow morning
so now im wondering if they're even gonna have an appointment for me tomorrow
and not only that, but i have no idea what this is... i know they're gonna knock me out and stick a needle in and then do something to try to quiet those nerves, but i dont know how
i know absolutely nothing about this and im actually hoping they dont have the appointment for me cause this is really starting to bother my anxioty disorder
bleh
sorry, just needed to vent a little i guess

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I have not had that specific block but I have had nerve block with success. My husband has had nerve blocks with less success. Some did not help some helped for months. Everyone is different.
Will be praying for you and a successful block.

If you google the name of your procedure you will find many articles on the procedure including prep before, what will happen during the procedure and what to expect after. Out of the eight I read only two said nothing by mouth after midnight. The rest of them said this wasn't necessary. If you haven't done so already I encourage you to google it. I wish you the best of luck tomorrow. I hope the injection brings you the relief that you need. Please let us know how it went.
Hugs & God Bless
