Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Take care,
When I first started taking meds on a regular basis I did the same thing. I just HAD to look up everything and I read TOO much. I worried myself almost to the point that I didnt even want to take something that was going to actually help me. It can be scary. Doc told me to look up side effects for Aspirin. I couldnt believe it- but I never thought about it either. It really helped to put it all in perspective for me.
I think if the company gets a call about a side effect someone had no matter how ridiculous... (My leg hair started growing faster than it normally does) they have to document and state it as a "side effect." So that means (like Tipper said ) take it with a grain of salt- just be aware.
So now, I do things differently ... I look at the GENERAL side effects ... thats it and then I try it. If something seems weird (rarely) then I read up on it more and go from there.
I HOPE ITS GOING TO HELP YOU!
So lovebaby, if you don't feel comfortable using a new med that has absolutely no track record, tell your Doc, ask him to give you a comparable medication, and maybe after a year or so you can try Cimzia. Is just what I would do.
P.S. - I love that picture of Millie, too cute!!!
