Hello,
A very long story short, I was in a car accident 2 years ago and had a severe concussion, whiplash and a shoulder injury.
Went through PT twice, 2nd time made everything worse, had traction, made my neck worse, massage and steroid injections in neck, MRI showed a herniated disc at C7, had another MRI 2 months ago as this pain in my neck is still there and it is still showing the herniated disc.
Dr's and a Neuro looked at the MRI and said it doesn't look that bad, that drives me nuts!
After the accident I couldn't lift my leg arm up as it was so painful, I still can't lie on that side at all as it hurts too much, an MRI of the shoulder was done over a year ago and it just showed some bursitis.
So, time goes by and I try all therapy, a year ago I started having pain in my left middle finger and now it's to the point that it hurts to lift my left arm again and the finger hurts constantly, I ice my shoulder and it helps a little.
It's painful feeling in my finger but like a pulling too, hard to describe.
No Dr can figure out if the pain in my shoulder is coming from my neck, and the MRI showed the disc is not pressing on a nerve so what the heck is happening?
I feel in limbo, any kind of exercise increases the pain I have.
Had an EMG over a year ago and it showed a pinched nerve in my elbow and chronic changes at C7 but no pressed nerve.
My Dr looks at me like I'm from the moon, this shoulder is hurting worse along with the finger, my neck has always hurt too.
Is the shoulder pain coming from my shoulder? I tend to think it does and not from my neck.
I just don't know what to do, am sitting here hurting and will I never lie on my left side for the rest of my life? :(
Thank you for any help/advice

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

hugs sorry I dunno what to tell you but nice to meet you....we are here vent any time....we will not judge...
I know c7 can cause shoulder pain as I'm going through that issue now. I know how frustrating it can be when the drs won't listen. The biggest thing to remember is they work for You! If it takes standing in front of the door until they've heard all you have to say and answered all your questions so be it. I guess I would try a cortisone shot if you haven't already, if that brings no relief then I would push your dr to do surgery since you seem to have done all the non surgical things with no relief. Sending up prayers for comfort, diminished pain & answers.
Oh, one more thing is it the ulnar nerve (located in the elbow, though the elbow itself usually doesn't hurt)that's causing the finger pain? Please keep us posted on how your doing & again, Welcome!
Hugs & God Bless
