Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

It's nice to meet you! The faces and names may change but you always have a family here. We know what you're going through.
I know exactly what you mean. I have RSD pain and even though it's improved so much since I had a SCS implanted, i'm still in pain 24/7. Add lupus pain and fibro pain to it and it can be horrible.
Once in a great while, I wake up with little or no pain. I just lay there and try to savor it because I know the moment I move, the pain will return.
I try to remember that when I die, I won't have pain, I won't have to hobble around, the feeling will be back in my feet and i'll be restored to my former healthy self. I pray there's a big green grassy field in Heaven so I can walk barefoot in it. That's my vision of Heaven. I know I can't do anything about when I will die, but that hope sustains me when i'm at my lowest. I try to close my eyes and imagine it.
you've been through hell and it isn't easy. I hope you can get a break from all this pain. Everyone deserves a break once in a while.
I don't know if this all helped but I hope it helped even a little. Just know you're not alone and we're here for you to pop in whenever you feel like it. I hope you stay arouind a while so all of us newer folks can get to know you.
Sandy
