Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I hope your surgeon is able to do something that helps your pain. I don't think most people WANT surgery but, if there's that chance of relief, sometimes you just want to try. Whether it's surgery or something else, hopefully you are able to find some relief...
(((HUGS))) I hope things get better for you and the rest of the week is quiet and drama free.
I would say that many of us have done the same as you have. Our partners can sometimes demand a lot and if we are hurting our patience is too low. All you can do is explain to your SO that you were in so much pain yourself that you over reacted. And apologize.
I am sorry that your SO has COPD. That complicates things. My husband has COPD and Emphysema. They almost always put him on antibiotics as soon as he catches a cold.
Praying for both of you.
Warm hugs-RJ
I hope you are being kind to yourself, heating pad and anything that will help you relax.
Stress really plays a huge part in the pain game, add hard hospital chairs and less sleep it is a trifecta. By Friday you should know.
love and peace

I could so easily imagine this happening between my husband and myself.
He's a rock. In support of me....
And in any serious health or pain issue with himself.
BUT.. give him a cold..
And..he's like Superman around Kriptonite.
And..yeh..
Put ANYBODY around me whining from the sniffles
When I'm in a place of, literally.. being unable to speak
From pain...
And.. when I get my voice... it'll probably be a little... snippy
( even with the love of my life :-)
Ha! He's got one on you now, ya know.
.. My husband would have a field day with me snapping
At just that spectacukarly wrong moment :-) :-)
..bet you guys will laugh abut it.. eventually, too.
Hugs
