I want to start getting the doctor's notes after appointments. My last Neuro notes were a mess. Saying I don't fall on one page, then saying I do fall on another page. So much of the info was contradicting itself, some of it was just totally incorrect.
Either way, I'd introduce it with something like, "I tend to need to review medical information later when I get home because to me it is rather complex and recording it means fewer calls to you to double check."
I'd run if the doctor is too scared to allow this. Seems to me like they have something to fear.
I would think for yourself you could say you needed it to be sure you are remembering everything correctly.
Just some thoughts.
