welcome nickkiez....I know that the same stuff your mentioning is going to be done to my sister for her afib in her heart...it is set for jan 25th...someone here might have had that done....I am a underdog here...I know nothing about treatments for pain...so I just wanted to offer you a warm hello....come have breakfast with us here...we do it daily...you never know where we will eat...some day I hope we have breakfast in my back yard at mom's house...but for now we are inside and sometimes in south of france...LOL

My husband had that done for his heart afib. I have not heard of it used for pain. My husband's surgery was very successful, so if they can separate the nerves causing the pain and stop them it would be awesome.

I had radio frequency ablation several years ago. It helped my bad nerve pain in my leg tremedously.

well im willing to try anything at this point nothing ive had done has really been helping me i have a couple bad discs in my neck that i think was caused by a car accident when i was 14 im 32 now just so tired of pain

Hello and welcome, I just had RFA done at two levels in my cervical spine.

They cause some pain and discomfort at first but it keeps getting better as the days go on.
I had to have 2 different nerve blocks to show that I was a good candidate for the ablations.

I believe that it was a good choice for me to have it done and now just hoping that this will really help for a long time!!

thanks all for the welcomes i hope im a candidate this sounds promising if i am would be great to not have neck pain i have chronic migraines too and when my neck is hurting it makes my head worse i get botox for that tho it dont help that i have a couple of bad discs in my neck too plus bone spurs and mine c1 and c2 are misaligned and my spine is curved so im a mess i have done pt for it too and count less meds to try to help its getting old im only 32

Be carfeul about "trying anything". There are things that can make you worse. I know how desperation can feel. I have never known a painfree day. I always looked at others and wondered how they managed to continue when pain got so bad every day. Like a child who can not see thinks that everyone must see the same way, I thought everyone must have severe pain at the end of every day (severe enough to throw up my dinner every night). I assumed that I was just weaker and could stand less pain than others.

well i wouldn't try anything just things that may help my problem just want the pain to ease up a little seems every time i think the pain is going down it comes back with a vengeance and other parts start to hurt too im just so sick of this
