Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

This doesn't sound believable, but it's accurate and may make you feel better. I fell Friday, landing on my knees, especially the right one. It
hurt, but I kept working outside. I'm not young and I'm overweight. Friday night, after going to bed, it hurt so much, I couldn't stand it. I usually don't take pain medicine, but I took 2 acetaminophen totaling 500 mg and after the appropriate wait time, 2 more. Not recommending it - just read about how very unsafe they are.
I have to get up several times a night and I absolutely could barely walk,
using the quad cane I had from a knee flare-up five yrs ago. Friday, during the night, pain level 8. After I got up on Saturday, I could walk, and didn't have much pain. Today, I walked with no pain at all. It really is unbelievable, and I was so worried about things I had to do, and was certain I wouldn't be able get done for several days.
I'm so grateful I recovered quickly and I hope you recover quickly, too.
back pain sucks...I know the leg pain one...I fell long ago getting out in icy situation to go to work....leg went under me and pulled the knee pretty badly...since I do not have insurance I just roughed my way thru....but then years later I come to find I might have torn a meniscus when I fell because that knee now has torn meniscus..
please if you have health insurance take time to visit a doctor this day or the next for sure...better safe than sorry...you could have slipped a disc or worse...or the leg could have gotten badly messed up....please just have self checked out if insurance will pay for it....because your worth it!
I had a fall about a week or so ago and it feels like I damaged or broke my tailbone. The pain is bad so I took 4 ibprofen which is 800 milligrams and is the prescription dose and that gives me some relief so I can do the things I need to do.
Good luck with that.!
God Bless!
