yes on lower left corner it is meebo...if you go to right corner and turn off meebo chat you get the popups to go away

I just complained about this too!

Meebo is the chat system that DS uses. You can disable it by hitiing the down naarrows on the right of the bar. This should help with pop ups. I still get some but not as much as I did before,,
