Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Doctors need to take the time to look outside the box if the treatment is not working.
That's the problem with with modern medicine and insurance companies now.
Slap a bandage on the patient and get them out the door.
It's a same if doctors in the past thought the same way, they would of never discovered all the different diseases .
Doctors today have more nolage and resources and choose not to use them, or the insurance company denys the test or treatment.
Unfortunately daily many people are misdiagnosed with cancer and other diseases because of the assembly line.
And would be alive today if the doctor took the time to listen and run the correct tests that are available.
How many really ill people have been told your just depressed. SAD
Some doctors increase pain medications. at the start of physical therapy.
The worse is how it affects my spouse, just can’t be active anymore and when I try this is the result-a great big flare-up! And hours and hours of pain etc!! And yet, I have to be grateful for so much, just like we all do. I really believe our Drs have reached the best they can give to us!! So to all you folks out there please know I am so very sorry that you find yourselves in this predicament. No matter how long this has been going on I still am so sad that this is the new me, I miss my fun active self. Darn she is long gone!! I send my best wishes to all and I hope you all can find peace in your thoughts and hearts. Painsomnia here I come back again!! Hugs to all.
