Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Is SAMe a compound, or brand?
The Ltheanine sounds promising as well.
I've begun to consider natural supplements in hopes of reducing opiate doses.
I've mentioned it before..but..have you heard about how bad artificial sweetners are for us..in particular aspertame?
I think that fits with this topic..more of a what you shouldn't than what you should..
But all good info to have.
Thanks, ATO
Careful....tramadol can cause seritonin syndrome when crossed with phyc meds....look on the Internet at experiences with "same" just because these things are so called "natural" supplements doesn't mean they are safe for everyone just as prescribed meds.
Sounds to me like your Doc thinks you don't need pain meds. I hope you are experiencing less pain, that you have a second opinion on long term effects of the phyc meds you are on.
My intention in writing this is of honest concern. I don't mean to upset you. Please always get second or third opinions.....the truth is you are being told what one prescription med has the potential to do to your organs while not telling you Doctors simply have no way of telling you long term effects of prescribed meds for your " brain".
In respect and hope for your pain relief. :)
SAMe is a supplement, jc. link below. still unknown interactions though.
