My son had two of his friends over for a camp out last night. Of course I couldn't sleep....up all night worrying, but it turns out I didn't need to because my dog Jack (collie) was keeping a watch over the kids for me:)

About 3:30 last night I heard Jack and the neighbors two dogs start barking like crazy. I really didn't think much of it because I just figured the kids had done something to make them bark. It was only about 10 min.later the kids walked in the house and went to bed.

The next morning my son told me that Jack woke him up pouncing on him and whining and barking. When the kids got up they saw coyotes next to the tree line of the woods. It scared them pretty bad so they headed to the house.

I just thought I would share about my Hero for all you animal lovers out there:)
