Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I sent the link to my daughter and son. They love me dearly but maybe this can give them some clarity. Thanks again, Dianna
So glad it meant something to you! I also identify with it really well and it's very refreshing to find things you think to yourself written down from someone else that clearly understands. Since you enjoyed that letter, I really think you might some solace in something else that where I feel even more understanding as if I'm literally reading precisely what I'm thinking and feeling. If you already read the post where I mentioned Pinterest than just disregard the rest of this, but whether or not you are signed up with Pinterest, I highly recommend just popping into the website and search "chronic pain" and just look at what comes up right away. The "pins" that come up matching the chronic pain search are almost infinity in findings and the quotes, and images, and other information that pops up made my jaw drop open (literally) because out of nowhere, while I've felt so alone in what I'm feeling and experiencing, a whole world of "stuff" that describes my life to a T was all of a sudden right there for me to look through. It was weirdly comforting...but I was just so enthralled with the fact that my thoughts and feelings were being validated , and the some. Anyhoo...in rambling, but it made me excited to find it so I enjoy passing it along in hopes it'll do the same for someone else. Let me know!
