OK..I have too much time on my hands. Better to spend it daydreaming about happy things than what I've lost.
I happened to be talking to Heiroglyph...aka Hero...about ice cream trucks. ( don't ask...conversations wander).
Anyyyywaaaay...I was saying how it would be so GREAT to have a real ice cream truck...and fo around with the music playing ( you KNOW...the ice cream trucks coming! Music....she suggested " It's a small world...good choice :-) :-) . And...GIVE AWAY ice cream to kids.
That would be such a BLAST!!!
Led us to talking about being young at heart...
Anyone else for a fun/goofy/silly/happy fantasy for when you're feeling a little blue and can't move around much to distract your self?

there's a fountain here with big, concrete animals all around it that spout out the water where the little kids play and i'd love to go jump in with them without a care!
in PR a bunch of neighbors would just block our street with kiddie pools and have a street party, so you could go splash and get hosed down - more sense of fun!

You could have a block.long slip-n-slide course!!!
( remember slip-n slides? And rub burns...and bruisin' the heck out of yourself on 'em......and not caring AT ALL, 'cause you were to busy having fun?!?! :-) :-) :-)
Oh...and we could have bubble machines everywhere, too!!!
And water balloon fights !! :-) :-)
I'd love to have a block party with go karts to race up and down the street!

oh, we had a big hill in the back yard that was great for slip'n'slides, then right onto the grass, but who cared!

When it seemed like finally the days were getting warmer and summer was near-I was SO excited for that first day I could go outside and check if it was "hot enough" to go * barefoot.* That meant, that the pavement had to be almost hot to the touch ( my hand) for the answer to be "yes."

I thought about the sprinklers when we were talkin' slip-n-slides!!
Remember when streets n sidewalks went from " hot enough" to TOO hot later in the Summers...and you had to try to walk on grassy or shady spots?
