" malware"... as in computer virus...
If you search " Mondays malware attack"... it will give you multiple sites about it..
Find the one that has FBI address to find out if you're infected and how to fix.

I did it and I was fine. Of course, it was not attacking Macs, although I am in Canada, so I wanted to check it out.
The other site ways it's coming up?
Thanks to Angela for posting that link..y'all know me..I can't do a damn thing on this notebook..:-)
N Thank you Angela for posting the link.....
Really appreciated..... Hugs...
Please be very careful what you *click on* no matter what site you go to... these butt heads are horrible... often times its a set up and THEY are the culprit. I am weary of checking this out because I haven't heard about this yet.
I know there are safe ways to check this out --- I will ask either my DH or 22 year old son ... they know aaallllll Jk...lol
Oh and I can personally say this can happen anytime... :( ;( I clicked on something posing as something "safe" and it gave me the worst virus we have had. I LOST EVERYTHING... All my writing... stuff I wrote after my dad died... basically EVERYTHING I HAD SAVED about EVERYTHING...book marks etc etc... I am STILL upset about this....;(
Please be careful friends!
Yep..you can be attacked by someone posing as help..
Google and facebook have put up warnings about this ..and it's been on the news.
I'm clueless...my DH is checking it out for me.
Hugs..
By the way, your computer takes check points constantly. You can do a safe boot back to a checkpoint and back up your disk before you lose everything.
The original problem goes as far back as a year....
So...if you go that route...research this, and make sure you go back far enough.
They're also recommending backing up important data.
Hugs to all
Stay green
