I'm gonna have to agree with Kate JanCam. Iknow that I used my chat every day for months and months ... One day, I awoke and no Chat. I did not get chat back regardless of who I contacted for more than 5 months---until DS recently did an upgrade a few months ago.

Nothing works since the "UP" grade.

UPgrade to what?
Nothing works.
Hit add once and the post is added a dozen times.
It is slower.
Notices to friends are gone.

try the lower right corner of the screen mine says 1 friend online i have to click on that to open chat

I had chat for 3 days in one yr. Then I had it for a month. Then they did their recent upgrades and poof it's gone. : ( If you contact them they will tell you to download Firefox I already have that.

Just going to have to send messages or replies!

Pretty crappy deal!!

i have Explorer for a browser i guess i updated one day to Explorer 9 and it's not compatible with this site as not much works , so i use google chrome to come here chat works ??!!!

have you tried closing DS and re-opening? sometimes the simple things help. chat away. i hope i can get up and do a little more, but i'm in my comfy chair, so i'm comfy :)

Steva is right about internet explorer and upgrade. that is how I lost mine. I switched to Google Chrome for browser and got it back.

Yes IE9 browser won't allow chat to work. I'm using IE8 and chat has worked great for almost 2 years. Firefox makes it work too. But IE9 has to many glitches. If chat won't work after logging off and back on then you have to change your browser accordingly or not.
