Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
You just go and don't give yourself any options.
I know I know......
I am praying for you and it's never too late for something good to happen and even for a miracle.
Love you

I can fully relate to your fear, I myself put off critical tests and such out of sheer fear.
You are a very special lady and learning what is what, in the long run will help you. I'm sure that's hard to accept right now, but, I've seen your strength in the face of horrid odds and have full faith you will pull this off.
Now, get your butt up, get dressed and go!!! OK??
We're with you in spirit, just put your hand over your heart and feel our love and support.
keeping you in prayer.....

The only advice I can give is get copies of all reports and read them when you get home. All too often doctors skim those reports and don't look back to see if there are changes or inconsistencies.
I'm not too afraid of knowing what's what...that's how we get I no solutions.....more afraid of family pushing with cat out of the bag..
DH will ne with me and he doesn't keep things from rest of my family...dang it.:-)

Every six months or so when GP looks at last EKG dome I'm his office, he said. " oh my god.....that IS all over the place"........bet he said exact same today....
I did realize in conversation with someone here yesterday that I need to keep copies of EKG and blood work on hand in case of need for ER.
Helps when you're a woman with cardio issues to have that paper trail handy.....
Thanks, Tigg

As to family, I understand that dread. You are stronger than you think. And your family just might surprise you. Sometimes we put our own emotions onto others, or expect certain behaviors based on past patterns, but some things change, and you just never really know how someone will react.
You can do this! Just breathe, and we are with you!
Sending hugs, love, and comfort.

...he can tell your ma, you moved to Arkansas
Or he can tell your dog to bite her leg.
And he can tell your brother, quick, to jump right off a cliff
You never really liked him anyway.
Or tell your Aunt to pee, tell anything he'd please,
Yourself, don't give a hoot what she will say
Or he can tell his eyes to watch out for your mind
It might be walking out on you today
...
Now I want you to imagine all us crazy DS CPers are using our free 30 minutes Dan gave us yesterday (see snooze h button post) to do a country line dance while Billy Ray comes and sings this new version to ya right there in the dr waiting room.
The first verse still needs a little work, but you might be laughing too hard watching us creaky dance. I'll try not to whack anyone with my cane accidentally. Later you can borrow it to intentionally whack a few family members if need be lol.
Got my fingers crossed for ya. I'd be puking with fright. That anticipatory anxiety is rough stuff. But you, my dear, are tougher! Hang in there. I'm sending all good thoughts your way ( when I can get that dang song outta my mind lol).
(((hugs)))
