Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
That said, my muscles all over started twitching back in Feb of this year when I had a doc "accidentally" jerk me off a highly addictive barbiturate cold turkey after I had been on it for four years... Since then I have terrible muscle tremors that get worse the more pain I am in. It is so bad that I can't write with a pen or pencil anymore - my hands shake too much. I can type, but only about 15 or 20 wpm where I used to type around 60 wpm.
My right arm shakes more than any other part of my body, but only I can tell the difference between the amount my right hand shakes vs my left.
Of the six or seven doctors I have seen since this started, the only one who cared was a therapist, who was overruled by the nurse practitioner in the room.
Hugs and good luck - but I would call and talk to the ER, shakes on one side can be a symptom of a cardio-vascular issue.
yadlim and critters
I know a lot of athletes are using MSM to fix their muscle ache, but the results took me by surprise. MSM (aka DSMO) is an organic sulphur compound, same as what you get from eating broccoli, except that you need to eat a ton of Broccoli to get the same effect. Awsome stuff!!!
if i do not sleep in the correct position , i do experience twitching the next morning ..
But how much to attribute to MPS and disc has be hovering.
If i go under the knife , there is no guarantee that i will be symptom free..
I am discussing these issues with my doc , Nobody has the right answer either..
Friends please Do take care of ur selves
((((((( HUGS))))))
You are absolutely right
The reason why i did not undergo surgery is , i have disc issues at muliple levels(3) with lot of bony spurs , which cannot be dealt surgically.
more over I have extensive MPS , so the surgeons gave conflicting opinions.
i am a in total mess
I will read ur journal..keep posting ,
