I recently had a new neurostimulator implant, and have the hand held
remote from my old stimulator. If you need a new control remote, answer this post.

The remote is from a stimulator from 2005, model # 7427. I know these are rather expensive to replace, so I hope this free remote will be of use to you. It is in new condition.

Good morning!
We are definitely interested! My husband had a Medtronic stimulatoe put in a couple of years ago, I'll have to pull out the paper work to check on the model number. Can I get back to you later this evening? I'm headed into work for the day and won't have time to get to it til later this afternoon/evening but he is definitely interested!

Hi, it's me again, I had a few days from hell at work (I work at a psychiatric hospital for children/adolescents and spring is definitely in the air!) The number on my husband's remote is different than yours, s picture would definitely help. Check your messages, I will send you my e-mail address and we can go from there. It's small enough that if you sent it C.O.D. and it didn't work out, we'd mail it back to you, couldn't be more than a couple of bucks postage right? Thanks, Lyn

Thanks Dave for all of your efforts; the pictures, the e-mail, etc. After looking at the pictures, it is clear that this is a different model than my husband's, his has number controllers on the front and back of it that he can and does adjust himself. He was really hoping that they were the same as it would come in handy having more than one controller, sometimes he forgets to bring it to work with him:( Again, thanks so much for the efforts, it was worth a shot! How does yours work out for you? (your spinal stimulator?) Do you have to take other medications such as Lyrica or neurontin for nerve pain? One of the main reasons my husband went with the SST is to get off or reduce the amount of Lyrica that he has to take as it really messes with his head. Have a good day! xoxoLyn

Hi Lyn. Not a problem.
I've had a stimulator for 5 years. I just had to have it replaced because it went dead. The new stim is rechargeable, and has more functions. It helps my hands and fingers. I also have a drug pump implant that does a great job for my feet. I am fortunate to have an aggressive pain control doctor.

As far as my MS,. I take many oral meds. Lyrica didn't work well for me, but Neurontin does. I have Baclofen in my pain pump. I also
take Copaxone that I inject everyday.
