Can you take any herbals?
Try Cherry with Tumeric and Acetyl L-Carnitine with alpha lipoic acid.
Those two might help just enough.
It works great for some and not so great for others.
I found out how well Lyrica works after I decided to stop taking it due to memory problems. Well, I was writhing on the floor. I began taking it again and it kicked it. I was real good at playing doctor with my medicine. Not so much anymore. The consequences suck, lol!
Shlay, I also take Nucynta, Ultram and Toradol nasal spray for B/T pain. As with any medicine, it's all about measuring benefits vs risk for me. I'm so sorry the Lyrica didn't work for you. I hope you find something that does. (((Hugs))), Dianna
Lyrica seems to be one of those drugs that works great with some people, and causes so many problems for others.
I happen to be one of those people who Lyrica works for them.
I don't know if your vomiting and fever are caused by Lyrica. Don't stop taking it abruptly as you will go through withdrawal. (I ran out once and didn't have it for a day and a half and went through withdrawal).
Maybe another drug would be more helpful and cause less problems.
I do know that increased depression is one of the side effects listed for lyrica. Maybe you should start on an antidepressant if you're not on one, or add something like Abilify to your current antidepressant.
Best of luck,,
Sandy
