Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Thats awesome advice and inspirational.... Thankyou for sharing... Dix really hits home, even with CP, there is much to share, appreciate and cherish..... It is a choice...... to grow....

i watched that when you posted and just cried tears of joy and amazement.
i'm still working on that level of acceptance. yesterday was really good and broken into little do-able bits and loooking at what i did accomplish instead of the other way around or pushing too far. that balance is hard...
it is a life unlike ones who dont suffer w- c.p....but i have since the age of 17 after a car wreck..the pain from those injuries never went away...all i can remember is life before that,it was the life of a teen
...so as an adult, ive never been pain free,so i dont look at what i cant do so much as to looking at what i can do..your right, its a choice,we have to accept life as it is,hoping for at least brief periods of less pain to do things we can do.
im confined to bed for most of a 24 hour day....but i somehow still find joy in life,my kids are number one..my family here also...
thanks dix.i appreciate this post so much!!!!!
