Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Or any poems you like at all. It will give us a good distraction.
It doesn't matter how well you write, it's just to get your feelings out.
Here's mine I wrote a while back:
Opaque glass, transcendence, fear
Walk through those hallways of your dreams,
The ones that keep you shrouded in dread as the dead of the night overtakes you.
Two way glass- Only you on the inside
Youre a rat in a maze with no end in sight.
Will you be rewarded once the puzzle is solved?
You cling to the glass.
Its chilled and sleek texture fails you as you search for an end.
There is no purchase in its design, only infallible cruelty.
Wondering about this unyielding strife, you find yourself more aware.
Crushing weight pounds upon your heart- you are not alone.
You are surrounded by fiends.
They stalk closer with their weapons in hand.
Starting backwards, you falter- a fiend has found your back.
One of the fiends raises a mace, slowly and carefully.
These fiends, your demons, smile at your fear. They feed from it.
Only now are you aware that you are being held from behind, arms tied by an others.
As they prepare to take their fill, you close your eyes and fall to your knees in surrender.
Moments pass, nothing transgresses.
You peek a look upright to meet your end, but the fiends have disappeared.
Once again, you are alone in your oblivion, eyes upon you.
It doesn't matter how well you write, it's just to get your feelings out.

that no one there would ever know?
that we are tired, hurt and sore
and weary , must the pain be more?
For if we could just fly away
to a place
where we could stay
protected by His healing wings
forever with the ones who sing
The songs of peace and joy and love
The beauty of the life above
Is this a place that we can go?
oh yes. we will. But no one knows...
the time or place or circumstance
so live here wisely, take every chance
to do the good that we can do
while we are here
until we're through

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
The leaves fall on another year
Our pains grow and so does our fear
We search endlessly for the finish line
Only to have our feet fail along with our mind
Weary we walk life's paths
searching for the freedom we desire
In silence we groan
Are we suffering alone?
Can we press through
Can we? Can we?
In silence we search for
Freedom
