Go to ER if pain is intolerable, though I don't trust them to help with pain, too many drug seekers to know who is serious. Got a morphine shot only once in ER. Didn't ask for any pain med. Came in nearly unconscious, going in and out of consciousness, shaking, white as a ghost after 6-7 hrs of intractable vomiting. Threw up 30-40 times, should have gone sooner, but didn't want a $2600 bill for a bag of fluids + Zofran. Hubby carried me in.
