Hi, my name is "Remar". Like the rest of you on this forum I'm also a chronic pain sufferer. It started about 13 months ago. Many tests and still no diagnosis yet. Thank goodness I have two wonderful Drs. My primary and my GI Drs. This all started with a bout of gastritis, which I've had many times over the years. Taking Prilosec like my Dr recommended had always helped in the past. Not this last time. I've ended up in the hospital 3 times. I've had a CT scan, a stomach scope, an ultrasound, many blood test and still no answer as to why I have this excruciating pain. My next test will be an MRI on back, which both of my Drs have recommended. My GI Dr thinks this could be a bulging disc causing the awful pain on my right side and also this chronic nausea. No, I do not have a gallbladder. Since I did have it removed several years ago there's a chance this could be scar tissue and or a bile duct problem. I'm lucky that I have a very understanding primary Dr who is treating my pain. I hope to meet other people here who are going through the same things that I am. Thanks to anyone who read my very long post.

If you only know one thing about me, it should be _____________________.

You may or may not encounter someone with the exact source/kind of pain that you have..
But, you certainly will meet others who completely understand living life with chronic pain...
.. and all that that entails.
I hope you find the comfort here that I, and so many there, have.
