Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Hope you feel better soon. My hip slides out at the worst times and the pain is #@#@#@!
Gentle hugs-RJ
I want to go for a bike ride in the park... But I just can't. I love being outdoors. I am going camping in AZ next month and I'm so scared my dad is going to get pissed if I can't keep up with him on the trails.
I'm only 23! This just isn't fair!
Take it one day at a time. Talk to your dad about a contingency plan if you have difficulty keeping up. Do as much as you can but don't overdo.
A lot of these illnesses cycle and you may have good times and bad times. Run with the good times and rest with the bad.
Talk to your doctor and do research to see what life changes you can do to slow things down. You may be able to get yours into remission for awhile.
The more positive and proactive you can be the better your body will react. It is really hard, but things like camping in AZ are really good for you. Hope it turns out to be a great trip.
Wishing you many good days.Praying the negative feelings and depression does not win.(We all have those days) Gentle hugs-RJ
