Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

i'm so sorry you have an idiot doctor and that you're in excruciating pain. i hate the way most docs treat pain patients.
i wish i could do more than sending cyber hugs and send you immediate relief.
persist, keep asking for and demanding help. you should not have to endure terrible stomach pain. please let us know how you're doing.
hugs and best wishes for A LOT LESS pain.

Has something changed?
Tabby, I don't know what is really going on but the level of lying here is discouraging. There are people here trying to help you but we can't help you if you're not honest. As a parent that had my youngest child pass away last year it's not cool to see someone lying about pregnancy and small children, especially when the people on this website have gone out of heir way to help you.
Now, if you really are experiencing stomach pain then you have a few options. If you haven't been to a gastro then you haven't had every kind of test yet. An endoscopy could be done to rule out stomach ulcers which are common but very painful and could be serious. You are NOT too young have a colonscopy. I've never heard of such a thing. My high school boyfriend had one at the age of 16 and granted, that was 16 years ago, but they do them that young. I had mine at 19. Although they're usually more common in older folks there are disorders that crop up in young people that only colonscopies can find. If you think you need one then push for it.
You also said in another post that you hadn't been to a gyno, yet in a different post you said you had. Some common gynnecological problems that can cause the type of pain that you are experiencing include:
- endometriosis
- adenomyosis
- ovarian cysts
- fibroids
- polycystic ovaries (not the same thing as getting a large cyst on your ovaries)
Some of these can ONLY be diagnosed via a laparscopy while others can be seen on an ultrasound. I had a hysterectomy in August because of severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. You said that your doctor wanted to do a hysterectomy because your uterus is sideways? You were still able to conceive, though, because you said you already had children...I would wait on the hysterectomy until you're able to figure out where the pain is coming from.
