Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

only friends i am also in pain 24 - 7
We communicate with each other, check in with each other and support each other, We don't just message others. Many people have bad days or difficult Dr. appts and need support here on the Board at the time of their need. And this is how you get to know people, many folks don't feel comfortable messaging someone until they've talked to them some and gotten to know them, just keep that in mind if you don't get many messages from people here.
Perhaps you could post a few threads about you and your Treatment Plan or your routines and what types of things you do to manage your pain and let us get to know you a bit.

I am totally new too. I do not have much knowledge of Spina Bifida or CRPS. I welcome your friendship. I was always that person that did not understand chronic pain until now its me . I realize how hard it is for people to understand our pain. I have had a doctor say to me you do not look like you are in pain. I am not sure how I should be looking when in pain. I try to smile through it and enjoy people. I try hard to keep my mind busy. My pain goes up to a 12 and down to a one. I am at home most of the time and I know I send to much time in bed .

I have CRPS too. In my right foot, ankle & leg. I have Fibromyalgia as well.
The CRPS is unbearable!!!
I am doing much better though. My pain has gone from a 8,9 or 10 to below a five. Some days I have no CRPS pain just numbness.
If you want to chat about it, just post on this forum or send me a friend request & we can message back and forth.
Gentle hugs.
