Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
So, my Sister, Brother and I are giving him all sorts of things he loves and we're all going out for Lobster Rolls!
I've been up since 1:30 so it's going to be a heavy coffee drinking day. Eating out will be right when I'll surely need a nap!
I hope all you Dads have a great day!
mine is around physically, but alzheimer's has a strong grip on him. i sent him a card. he wants no gifts. if i could get over there, i'd love to cook for him. he can't even order at a restaurant now. we have some nice memories. i'll call him later to chat a bit.
oh cherry, love lobster rolls. hope you have fun, too!

A Father means so many things...
A understanding heart,
A source of strength and of support
Right from the very start.
A constant readiness to help
In a kind and thoughtful way.
With encouragement and forgiveness
No matter what comes your way.
A special generosity and always affection, too
A Father means so many things
When he's a man like you...
We're taking my husband out to dinner tonight. That's about all we have planned for the day.
Sandy
"Happy Father's Day Dad! I miss and love you very much!"
As for my husband, kids are coming over at 5. I'm cooking Chicken Parmesan with Italian green beans from scratch for him. I already got him a new driver (golf). He's off to his regular golf outing with his cronies like usual every Sunday. He's so excited to use his driver (guess I'll never get the whole golf thing).
I've been blessed with watching him help raise our kids. He once took our daughter, when she was 5, to a New Kids on the Block concert in Frankfurt, GE. He put her up on his shoulders so she could see. He also would dance to their CD with Katy who watched it every day. Coaching, homework, hugs, you name it. He deserves more than one day a year to be celebrated!
Sorry, guess I should just leave. Such a bad day.
