Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

So, after not being able to sleep for three days, last night er 3am this morning I gave up and combined pain meds and antipanic meds to get to sleep... and my daughter woke me up at the crack of noon!
I come out and try to get my eyes in separate sockets as hubby takes a phone call. It is the head hunter who he has been working with... sight unseen, just off of the rave reviews from past managers and a phone interview, hubby has the job!!!! It is the first time he has worked in 2 1/2 years (since he had to stay home and take care of me with my cancer). Tomorrow he goes in to fill out the new hire paperwork and he starts on Wednesday!!!!
OK - it is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive each way, but it is a JOB. Six months training at a temp through the employment agency, and if they like him at that point they hire him full time with benefits!
So that was how my day started.
Then my daughter took me out to her work, at the haunted maze. She has a season long pass for her and a guest to go through the corn maze! It has been YEARS since I have been through a corn maze. I took my walker as I did not want a muddy white dog, and had an absolute BLAST!! My walker gave me a place to sit when I needed it. The walk though the mud was fun as I got to splash in the puddles. It took about an hour for us to go through the maze, during which time I worked all the swelling out of my knees for the first time in weeks!
After the corn maze, we did some serious off roading, which took my daughter lifting the front of my walker while I picked up the back to get over the worse areas, and went looking through the pumpkin patch for some pumpkins! We were going to get two, but found three that match really well... We thought we had gone over her $20 of free pumpkins, but once the teller found out she worked in the haunt part, just waved us through!
Ok, it might only be 3pm, but I have had a great day and the rest of the day will be spent just chillin and recovering.
I have a grin from ear to ear....

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I'm so happy you had a fun day with your daughter too. No wonder you're grinning from ear to ear!
I do NOT like corn mazes-does the words...a person can get lost ring a bell :p SPeaking of bells..I would tie one on your walker and follow the ringing :)
Lets see..three pumpkins could be the 3 musketeers or huey duey and louie :)
Then we were supposed to take the money from the sale and buy me my 40 acres small ranch (plan on livestock not crops).
BUT if this job works out and hubby loves it, it is going to change WHERE we buy said property. Instead of moving South to a warmer climate, we will be heading a bit South and mostly East and up into the Cascade foothillsll - higher in elevation then we are now. That will mean more snow not less. My farm will be less self sufficient and I will be in more pain... but hubby will have a job for us to live off of!!
I love snow, but it hurts. We will also have to invest in snow tires for hubby to go to and from work in my 4WD SUV - no way the car will be feasible to drive in steep hills in snow.
