Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Well 2 am coffee might desolve a spoon, I'm in
I'll try anything once!
I think my day will be spent aching and preping a bedroom in the basement for a redo and finish
But first I lit a fire so the furnace does not need to be on
I love a nice morning fire, with my coffee
I'm still not feeling well with my chest symptoms
Nothing like last weekends pain
I see my heart guy on the 9th so still a bit away
Looking forward to NPR radio today
Prarie home companion, Radiolab, The Moth, Snap Judgement
All great story telling shows!
It always amazes me how time flys while listening to a good story!
I hope you have a wonderful day
Peace n Hugs
Michael
Jancam I am in full recline on couch with laptop on my chest...lower back is not doing great but not so bad that I cannot move around...I have Cardinals game on TV we are playing Mets today in Florida...
I got up about 9:30 to take a guy, who my AA sponsor has been helping stay away from homelessness, to walgreens to buy him some meds he needed to keep from having Afib...his cost for five meds was $5....I had that much and my sponsor will pay me back that and give me some extra cash for doing this...he offered me $50 but I wrote him email that normally I would do it without $$$ but there is a bill I need to pay...so I would take him up on $25 of it...but in actuality I just see that that bill is already paid...it goes out tomorrow from online banking...due 4/2 so in plenty of time...what I need now is $60 for one due 4/7...hopefully student will meet that need...
anyway I called friend of mine who just lost her uncle today...he was in nursing home near me...I knew he was in the hospice care from like thursday...anyway I called shortly after the funeral home came to take the body....she was with him when he went I am 100% sure....he was WWII vet and proud of that...so sad so sad....we lose more and more of the men and women that were involved with WWII every day...soon none will be left alive....
I went to Sams club today after that to get my meds but pharmacy was closed on sundays...so I bought a package of bratwurst to keep from wasted trip out there....then back to get gas in car...$2.18 today...woot woot...sams club was $2.34 so I went to my honey hole...it is near me and I can use my phillips 66 credit card and save 5cents per gallon there...it is conoco....so I got my gas for $2.13 per gallon...LOL
nothing much going on today but the TV and computer to keep me company...I want to cook a couple brats for dinner tonight on grill outside...and I have a small project outside too...if I am up to it this week will also pooper scoop yard again...was 2weeks ago I did it for first time since at least Dec if not Nov....there was a lot of scat in my yard....so want to keep that under strict control and avoid flies this year as best as possible....
hugs
ps are you not glad I talked about poop here today? LOL
My connection has been down off and on so I have mostly been
off.
JC good to see you here this fine day. Hope you are getting as much sunshine in northern Arkansas as we are getting in Central Arkansas.
Mike Sunday has always been my favorite day for NPR too. Love Prairie Home Companion. Garrison Keillor just has that story telling kind of voice. A fire and a fresh cup of coffee on a Minnesota morning sounds pretty darn good. Take it easy with the redo on the bedroom.
Wishes up for the chest pains to settles. Glad it is better than last week.
Bill enjoy your brats and some good televeision. Sorry to hear about your good friends uncle. We have a dear friend in Annapolis who is a retired General still living. He published a book on Hap Arnold. It came out in 2001 and when received a packaged on our porch postmarked from Washington DC I freaked out. It was right in the middle of the anthrax thing and I was in the middle of a mental crisis. We knew he was working on the book but unaware it was finished nor expecting to receive a copy. We honor every great man and woman who serve and protect this country. The war has changed but there is still scarfice made.
Once again my facet blocks worked so on the 21st of April I will go in for the 4 level right side ablation C4 down to C7. No twilight but some light sedation. This one I will have at surgery center with anethesiologist. Must be conscious but pain can be kept down.
I had one level in January 2014. Probably as much pain as I have had with the blocks at the office receiving a little versed and nitrous oxide,
Wishing all less pain and more joy

I'll take a day old donut jc. How are you feeling these days?
Mike, I hope you're being careful with those chest symptoms. Went through some scary stuff with my Mom and her heart.
Bill, I can talk poop with you any day. We call it horse apples and I have a sh** load.
Well, I totally overdid it last week with this arena project going on. And something has shifted or changed in my c-spine, causing my standard level of pain to increase to a level I, I 'm not dealing with so well. So, after a slow walk around the pasture I am back in bed propped up with pillows and ice, grateful for a down day.
Grateful for all of you!
Hippy I would have freaked too about a package during the anthrax stuff in DC....so you went ahead and opened it anyway ;-)
I just finished unloading the dryer with last bit of stuff...took a bunch of wooden hangers in and put on top of dryer to hang all my jeans and other pants that are folded on my dining room table and will put them into bedroom closet tonight before bed...
Needed to take a pain med because right knee is painful today even though I have been either sitting in living room on recliner or in my bed propped up but tell that to the painful knee...:-)
I will BBQ my brats while the Iheart Radio program is on TV from 7-10...prob closer to 7....this round of them will just be three out of I think 12 that I bought at Sams club...I want to slather them in KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce and have them on bread....I might just eat two keep one for breakfast tomorrow without BBQ sauce as that is not the best cold in morning...LOL
Glad Hippy and Salto decided to stop in say hi...it has been a lonely day for me...my sponsor did call to thank me for taking the guy to Walgreens and buying his medications for him...he said we will talk tomorrow...I guess he wants me to come into the bank and get some cash from him for my service....:-/
I need to pay more attention ;)
You are a love and I would much rather hear about your tea time. Is that what an evening meal is? We are often full of delightful conversation here. You never know what you will get.
I just finished my late evening BBC news and I am trying to sort the tradition of the Prime Minister going to the Queen and asking for a new Parliament . Then the part about labor party or another party and all the different countries who vote. Is Australia under the Queen. I noticed Scotland is. I will be following this.
Salto I always think it unfair that a price is to payed when one does something they enjoy so much. I hope the rest and ice is helping.
Time for heat tomorrow. Hopes for no real damage.
love and peace
