I haven't had egg salad in awhile (thanks for putting that in my head), crumbled some bacon on it while you're at it :)

Glad you're resting so much, but go get those antibiotics.

I'm giving lessons on how to be as lazy as possible.....today.

Have a winter snow/sleet front moving through so seems like the day to go for it ;)

JC- hope you are doing somewhat better today. Glad you were able to get some rest.

Ms. Rocket- How is your world??? What time do the lessons on "How to be Lazy as Possible" start. I need to learn that, I keep using up all my spoons and am borrowing from all of next week!!! Sounds like a horrible day weather wise up in your world. Stay warm.

My my oldest son took me out for brunch. I haven't seen him since New Years, we teaches at the university and is working on his PhD. Plus he is also working in the Lab at the school and attending classes where he is required to make all "A". Brunch was wonderful to catch up. After 8 years of being with his girlfriend he has decided that he is going to propose this summer. He is trying to come up with a very romantic way to propose. I can't tell anyone. I love the fact that he trust me to keep his surprise. :)

I am still trying to catch up physically from using too many spoons. Keep blacking out today and having a hard time breathing. Plus high pain level today. Just took more pain meds.

Thank you for starting the post today JC, you always bring a smile to my heart.

Hope everyone else is staying out of trouble. Wishing all a low pain day.

Good morning everyone! i can say that because it is 5.51am here down under (in Sydney). I am up to get ready for work. Takes me a long to time to get ready so hence the reason for being up before I would like to.

Good morning JC. Amazing effort on the breakfast AND brunch buffet. Anitbiotics sounds like a good decision. Those nice long naps must be doing good things for you.

RJ I would be very keen to know about the spoon theory. I will google. Your son sounds like a very smart and sweet man. You must be so proud of him. AND is good to his Mum (sorry Mom - we say it different).

I love egg salad but usually only places I find it is in some rinkydink gas station that has three day old tuna and egg salad sammiches....LOL

Hugs to all....I am not reading thru all posts for some reason I just am not entirely up to snuff today...been sleeping....now up watching American Pickers on History...was supposed to sell a coffee table but blew the gal off as she wanted me to deliver it and wanted it when I was trying to take nap....then she texted that she got called to work...so I did not get out of bed and go right then either...I think I am depressed....it is winter and that usually does it for me....

anyway I promise to revisit threads and read replies when I am feeling more alive...

plus tummy pain came back again today a tad...after eating left over cobb salad from last night....

It does seem that egg salad is usually only on the menu in places where you'd have to wonder just how long ago it was made. :-) :-)

ate ham sandwich and it is now starting my pain in tummy to come back some more...I think I need to buy gatoraide and drink that and not eat for few days....I canceled the surgeon appointment for today because I do not have my spend down for medicaid paid off and did not want another bill to have to pay right now...but if tummy keeps as it is I will see my PCP sooner than when medicare kicks in May 1st....I moved her appointment to May 5th I think....so medicare takes care of that bill...I think 20% is easier than the spend down of $420month....

RJR what wonderful news from your son that you get to have a wedding to attend...wooot wooot...Irocket here we had light rain and then snow...so I do not know how bad it is out there but there is fine powder on the road in front of my house....ugggh more snow more winter...uggg

nessa what type of work do you do? that is early to get ready for work....I am not morning person....

well since pain is back and I am not taking antibiotics right now since 10days ended monday I called on call doc and asked to get more...she said no go see your doc tomorrow 4:30pm....I hate having to go but I have to go because I am back to 3pain in lower abdominal areas on left side...which is where the diverticulitis was causing problems...she p/o me because we both know why I have pain just script the round of new antibiotics already and save me over $100...I haven't met spend down yet this month....so I am about $250 out of pocket this month before the spend down is met now....I guess I will have to pay the waiter....when the waiter brings the check right?

hi BillW::: I'm not sure why you didn't get another round of antibiotics but guess they need to do a follow-up and you'll get the script tomorrow. Feel better please and hang in there, it'll only be good things from now on.
