Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

I am ready for coffee...been sucking down diet orange sunkist this morning with some pringles....so now for caffeine to kick it up a notch....
I dunno what today holds....there is nothing on my agenda outside of house which is ok with me...it is 29 outside here in STL...I am hopeful I get that all important telephone call for student today that would be so helpful.
Anyway I brought some food....caviar for all....left over from Oscars again...LOL (oh I tested it is safe to eat)
Hopefully no complaints today
Goood morning, and oh how I miss Mr Robin Williams
I think of him so often
Im still working the coffee
Today daughter 3 is coming out to get her car fixed,
Not by me!...I'm just a shuttle driver
Lunch repair and fuel buyer
Might get together with a friend for a beer later
Have a nice day
Peace
Michael
JC, thanks for starting our morning off. I will take hot cocoa with whipped cream. (calorie free) of course. LOL
I am kinda foggy this morning, waiting for my meds to kick in also.
Jasmine, the cinnamon roll sound sooo good. Hope you are feeling better since the injection.
Pink, I am sorry that your leg is causing so much pain. Do they have you wearing the support stockings? Hope they get the pain under control quickly for you. All that snow can not be helping either.
Bill, don't think I could face caviar this early in the morning. Definitely after 5 PM. Haven't had caviar in a few years. Hope your knee is surviving this weather. I need some laughter today,, so I will be looking for your Jokes :)
Wishing all a low pain day with many positive moments.
Hugs-RJ
It's sunny today and the temperature is supposed to get close to 55. As in typical Midwest fashion, the temperature is going to plummet and there is a chance of some type of precipitation later today. That means, of course, it's going to freeze over. We're in for some type of system to pass through Saturday-Monday. A "storm" was predicted for last weekend and we got a smattering of rain. Who knows? Around here, March Madness extends to just more than basketball!
These fluctuations in temperature and barometric pressure are really wreaking havoc with my OA. Even my replaced hip is bothering me. I had injections in my knees on January 26 and those lasted about 2 1/2 weeks. Meloxicam is a joke. Sigh...
I guess today I will take out my trash so I don't have to deal with it later in the week. I have enough coupons and ExtraCare bucks to go to CVS and get some makeup for free!
I hope everybody has a pleasant and pain-free HUMP DAY!!
(((HUGS!!!)))
Clover... hubby had a Zimmer knee replacement and it never did feel natural to him. Along with the RA and psoriatic arthrits, he has a lot of pain too. Nothing worked for him til he started on Metrotrexate and that took him from above 10 pain to a point where it's just there and doesn't stop him from doing things.
Good morning everyone!!
It's so great to see all of you.
I'm sorry I haven't been around greeting you..
I've gotten into the habit of getting up in the night..
And going back to sleep in the morning.
Yes, Jasmine.. virtual breakfast is customer friendly..
Cinnamon roll it is. :-)
Pink..
I get really clumsy in flip flops any more ( seriously..
Isn't that ridiclius? :-)
But.. I'm with you on being ready to feel warm,
MrBill..
Umm.. I'd pass on the caviar even if it wasn't breakfast time.
I don't eat bait. Hahaha
Anettee..
If it rained here.. we're be stuck in ice.
Welcome, Freedom to the CP group!
Hi, Michael. Thank you for being here.
You're a good Dad.
RJ..
Thank you for being hostess.
clearly your idea of a muddled brain is, well..clear.. than mine. :-) :-)
Cloverset..
Yes.. the changes in the barometric pressure are so damned hard on joint pain.
Spring will be here soon. ( that's what I keep telling myself. :-)
Good morning RHeather.
Aaand.. with that..
I've caught up. :-)
Hugs to all
jc
I just was.. literally ..holding my breath while that last post loaded..
That's a LOT of typing for me..
I'd have been bummed if the cyber gremlins disappeared it
:-)
Then I found a PT that specializes in Sciatica and is the owner, which made a huge difference. I did do some exercises on the bike, and strengthening on weights for my back, but he zoned in on doing hands-on PT and it worked like a miracle.
Sometimes it's a matter of shopping around 'cause we deserve to be pain free and happy.
but that getting out of warm bed is tough one...I wanna take myself a nap now to about 2pm then jump up get dressed and run out to warmed up car...I have remote starter on my car so push button and it runs five mins or so and gets warmed up...if anyone were to try stealing it the minute they touch brakes to put in get engine kills....
I like my warm car...and it works opposite in summer...leave the AC on high and cool down before going out to hot car on hot hot summer day....oh I cannot wait for that time again soon! LOL
Hey Jancam if the post drops it usually asks you to hit the little circle on the URL bar to refresh and then says do you want to repost it and click yes and it would normally go thru....
Would ya believe I don't know what a URL bar is?
Haha
