i have a bad cold, with an upper chest cold!!...
i rarely get sick, especially in the summer, so im trying to get better before having to start my new job on the 10th.. ugh, hate being sick..
i use to also love the fall, but in the last few years i prefer summer, because the heat doesnt bother me but the winter does.. by february i am feeling the pain, and depression from winter, and i get SAD during the winter, so fall represents the coming of winter for me... but i do love the color change here in northwest ohio!! leaves and beautiful...
have a wonderful low pain day all...

Yesterday, my lower back was hurting more than the norm. Then a few hours later, I was standing at the sink shelling eggs for deviled eggs and my leg from the knee down went numb. Was a rough one yesterday.
Today, I'm not sure what's cookin' yet. Hope you have a great day. Me too, unless my body has other plans, lol. Hugs, Dianna
I just took the kids to school and it looks like Shirley will be flying to New York City on Friday and coming back on Wednesday. I told the kids that instead of me and their grandpa going to the first Razorback game we would get it on pay per view at his place and we would rent all the movies and buy all the snacks they want so that they could have just as much fun as my dad and I are having. I always enjoy watching the first head thumping of the year that Arkansas gives which ever team is brave enough to show up into town on that first week of college football season. I'm trying to be as uplifting as I can with the kids about what happened with their great grandpa and act like it's just something their mommy has to go do for a few days, but that it's actually a good thing because that means we get to party while she's gone. :) I had to spin it for 'em that way they don't cry when she leaves. My little girl especially has this thing about not being able to sleep unless BOTH her mom and dad are at home when she closes her eyes. I love the fact that she feels so safe and secure with Shirley and I being home with her but at the same time, in times where it's either very hard for that to happen or just simply impossible, it's hard to get her to not get nurvouse before it even occurs. She hasn't shown any sign of being upset about it yet, and I pray she doesn't. I'm glad also that they didn't cry and get upset when I told them about Shirley's grandfather passing. I feel just horrible for Shirley though. It's been hard on her since she'll be burrying her last grand parent and the one before was murdered in cold blood. When you have someone you're close to die at the hands of a heatless murdering S.O.B. it can tend to bring back all those feelings to the surface when another one dies of natural causes. It can leave you feeling like you should still have a grandparent around. I think she's doing well all things considered though! In spite of watching her father go through one of the hardest things he's ever been through, and her own personal feelings on what's happened, she's stayed true to her faith in Christ and anchored herself in Christ as I've done many a times in the past when there's nothing else to anchor on to.It's nice to have a spouse who loves and cares for you in times like this but they are no substatute for living water which is our savior Jesus Christ. God Bless, and I pray everybody has a peacful and joy filled day!
i can feel the storms coming. i hope all are safe...or safely boarded up.
my get up and go got up and left.
stinke, hope your cold clears. david, what a sweet thing to do for your kids! hope you have a good time in nyc!
Thankfully Isaak passed us without any damage, just lots of rain and wind. Left us with tons of leaves to clean out of the pool. Hoping it doesn't turn into much for those who are on the gulf coast, but have a feeling they might get hit kinda hard. So I hope anyone in that area is prepared for this storm. I wish you all the best!
I am definitely looking forward to some fall weather. It's been a brutal summer here in FL and I can't wait for some cooler weather. Fall is my favorite season.

I think I am going back to change my avitar to the one thing that would have kept my divorce from being finalized...yes MY Jockey...wifie held him hostage in her locked garage out in country and if she had not given him back we would have had to go to court!
LOL but I got him back and then I sandblasted off all the tons of rust on him and repainted him to look like he does today outside my back door now!
hugs bill
