What a day!! Too much work equals too much stress. But hopefully not for much longer. RJ - I have no back pocket spoons at present.

i am very lucky that my boss is really understanding of my issues. Not quite like the spoon theory but he is pretty good.

Tomorrow is Friday for me and that is a good thing. Means I can get some rest. mmmm I say that now.....

JC - did you get the antibiotics yet? And are you feeling any better?

I wish I could write more detail questions to ask you but I fear I will get it wrong because I don't have much memory (from the gabapentin causing memory loss). I would normally go back to other posts etc to remember but hard to do when you are in the middle of a post. [sheepish]

Oh JC - meant to add about the toast. I think the cinnamon butter the cafe makes is just butter, powdered cinnamon and caster sugar in a blender. They said they would give me the recipe but I said no. It's my treat. The cafe staff don't know that in the beginning for me to walk up there and sit and have breakfast was a huge deal. Took so much energy. Now I am able to just enjoy it (well some days are hard).

Can say I have thought of having the toast with chocolate milk though.... LOL.

I have a goodie from my childhood again for everyone...Creamed Eggs...it is hard boiled eggs cooked in little milk with tad of flour and salt n pepper....it goes over toast or English muffins....

Nessa for you we had to go to the store...I was out of sugar free ice cream...so I got you a whole carton now so it is all yours triple chocolate....fudge w chunks in chocolate ice cream...it is yummie and keeps the blood sugars down too...since no sugar added...

Ok for the purists here their coffee is ready, tea too...milk of course with creamed eggs we need milk...coacoa too....and complimentary diet sodas....

I have doctors appointment this afternoon too...because tummy is back to giving me pain again since running out of antibiotics Monday....so 4:30pm off to see the good doctor...she is a sweety...but the one on telephone last night would not just write script for more antibiotics and told me she wanted me to be seen by the doctor for further evaluation of the tummy issues....since I had canceled the surgeon appointment yesterday I decided I would do as told....so off to see the wizard....the wonderful wizard of Family Care health center...LOL

flubbed the creamed eggs so went to McDonalds and got egg mcmuffuns...for everyone...

Haha..they probably taste fine..
But.. they just sound like they'll look like they taste bad.

Hope it is a good day / night for all.

I woke up this morning and my knees are in so much pain I can barely move. I have no idea why. Something has flared up, gotta love it.

Nessa, hope you are getting some much needed sleep. You need a refill on spoons. LOL

JC- thank you for starting today's thread. Hope your appointment goes well. Leaving breakfast to Bill is dangerous. LOL Let's see Bacon, Bacon and Bacon. :):)

Bill- Just playing! I need lots of coffee. Really not full of energy yet. I am sorry the tummy is not getting better. Hopefully your doctor can find some answers and help it feel better.

If my knees don't improve, I think today will a very slow one.k

I am getting the pain going away today so I canceled the MD appointment for today....I do not want that bill is the reality of it and if I am feeling better then things are going the right direction....I have been able to have BM and I think things are working their way out just fine...LOL

anyway I made plans for an AA meeting tonight then dinner afterwards at Steak n Shake...with coupons...LOL saving myself some cash is my style!

RJR sorry knees hurt so badly I am glad you have the electric wheel chair so you can get around thru the pain....that chair prob saved you four or five spoons....;0)

Everyone might be sleeping by now. Still I will just say thanks to Bill for the super ice cream (sugar free - didn't know there was such thing). i am very naughty and eat full fat ice cream which is why I can't fit into clothes.

So thank you for helping me out there Bill.

RJ, I am sorry that your knees are giving you some grief. Not exactly what you had planned for today I am sure. Fingers crossed you were able to have a low key day and felt better by sleep time.

JC, my fingers were crossed for you too hoping you got your antibiotics. And happy we got to share some ice cream together :)

My eldest bird Georgie wants to get on the ipad keyboard and type too. :) He keeps trying to chew the keys.

NO NO NO JanCam I bought the mcmuffins and brought them here to distribute all day long...but beware of eggs that have been sitting out for few hours...you will be trotting off to the toidy if you eat one...LOL

Good to see you getting up today Nessa....we are all still awake it is just evening time now not even 5pm central time where I live....the oddness of the time traveling around the globe becomes confusing but even worse when we are in mid winter/spring and you are summer/fall.....LOL

I mailed my sister a package today with an auto coaster that said Caution Dog my dog cannot handle its licker....LOL Her little King Charles Cavalier is such a licky dog...I have to banish her from my lap or be licked to death in my face....she has no manners...

I did get call from my MD office nurse as MD saw I canceled my appointment today and wanted to know if I was alright...I am feeling less pain today and bowels are moving normally...so I canceled because I would have had to pay the entire bill as I am about $236.99 away from meeting spend down on medicaid....I did not want yet another bill to have to pay to anyone....so canceled appointment thinking if I get worse again I will make new appointment and keep that one....

Don't you get a late cancellation fee when you cancel at the last minute? ( usually means less than 24hrs notice?
Just curious..
Because..I pay those fairly regularly ( I'm such a flake :-)
I don't mind paying the late cancellation fee..
