Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Huggggss Jasmine
It just thundered outside so the rain they promised is on its way this morning...I haven't turned on TV...luckily I got my eyes focused enough to see the computer...they were full of ukk from allergies...
I am breaking protocol today with two students that are brothers....I am letting them take test together today in one lesson...usually to take test you pay for 2hr lesson get some drive time then go in and test and if pass go get your license paperwork taken care of...they did not really want to spend $100 to do that each today...so I offered to pick them up and go straight to the DMV test site and let them each try the test then back home and call it $100....so I am just happy to make another $100 today and if either of them flunks test they will do more lessons...LOL if they are ok they both will pass and it is over in about an hour or little more than hour and I go on home after that...with $100 in picety pocket...
so today is Cardinals Home Opener and we are ready to see them thru the entire season to the World Series of course...LOL I like to watch or listen to baseball games...radio or tv is fine....radio if trying to nap during game...LOL they give more visual cues on radio as to what the players are doing on field...so if eyes are closed you still can see the game in radio descriptions....
Ok well off to brew coffee and I have no sugar vanilla creamer jasmine so enjoy that ok?

Jancam weather is not my friend either...specially wet or cold....or both...LOL
Both students passed test this morning...>I sat on butt for a little over hour and made $100 for that....woot woot...I went and put $60 payment into dentist for the fillings last month...I still owe a bunch they were expensive...two in front teeth on top between the two teeth....so they had to match tooth color with that ceramic stuff....
anyway today is the home opener for my Cardinals and it is getting closer and closer to starting time of the big game....the news media is having field day out at the ball park with pep rally heaven each station has its own pep rally...LOL
I wanna get a win in the big game is all I want....hugs
Nurse called, my surgery is at 1:45 AM EST, I have to arrive at 11:45. Now I'm really feeling impatient LOL Friday can't come fast enough.
Bill- Glad you were able to make a few bucks today!!
Angela- I really hope you find lasting relief, I hate seeing you in such pain all the time!!!!!! Big hugs.
Jasmine- I'll take a boston cream, even though it's afternoon LOL. Hope your pain subsides as well.
I haven't been on here much, was going through a funk for about a week, so I was just lurking... head was hurting tooooooo bad. So they gave me fioricet for my head, and xanax for my anxiety, and increased my zoloft. Shew... I hope everyone has a good rest of the day, I'm going to try & tidy up my desk before I leave. It's beautiful outside today here in VA, so I'll sit on my back deck & watch the kiddies jump on the trampoline.
Yesterday my hands gott all tingley at the grocery store, I couldn't push the cart, and now my right hand is pretty numb. My neck pain is high today, too, with those awful shooting pains down my shoulders. Probably because I've been stressed...
A good friend of the family was traveling in Hanoi, Vietnam and had a heart attack last Friday and now is in hospital there fighting for his life. He is in renal failure and possible other organ shut-down. They are doing dialysis. His GF flew out there yesterday and is overwhelmed and is asking if I can come help her. I agree she needs another person with her to switch shifts with, but I don't know if I'm up to all the traveling part. I guess we'll just take it day by day.
This certainly reminds ne to be grateful for what I have!
HUGS!
Birthday wishes to Red. Hope you are still celebrating with little or no pain.
JC treading is what you do some days . I like the float idea best because it takes less enery. Just add sunglasses and float on the
back. Yes there is the old saying "I am barely treading water". Love you girl and I am throwing out some of that magic purple rope. Hang on. This week I am lighting candle for you as you go for the heart and lung docs. I got purple or mossy green.
Pink I'ml lighting an amber candle for you. Four more sleeps. I know on the afternoon procedures. For me the hardest ones without my coffee. I am not an early riser and I must be to get that coffee. The water part I just keep rinsing mouth with really cold ice water. A couple weeks ago my procedure time ran late and I was so thirsty. I am sorry to hear you have been down. I have wondered where you were. Hope the med changes are helping.
Jasmine more sleeps but yours is coming. I know you are researching and it is a long and serious surgery. I wish you didn't have so much time to think about it. It would be nice if you could prepare by shopping for some special items that would be treats for you and also add to your comfort while recovering.
Bill good for your added income. Go Cardinals!!!
AngelaJo hope you sleep well tonight. You and puppy.
Salto as you are I am concerned about the developments with hands along with the change in cervical spine. Still working on appointment?
Sorry to hear about your friend out of the country.
We are rainy and a bit chilly here. I am having really low blood pressure from my new muscle relaxant Zanaflex. I have lowered
My daily dosage by one pill and am just about ready to give it up.
Here is to good evening
hippy
My hand is half numb so I'm gonna pack it in for a bit. The sunshine and warm temps did me real good this afternoon.
Peace
