It is currently 9.23pm here in Sydney and I am completely pooped.

RJ - I went all out and I have used every spoon I have. I now on the couch ready for ice cream and a movie. If I am lucky.

I might take a cocoa this morning thanks JC. Soothing.

Busy Saturday for me tomorrow so am hoping I will be ok and surprise myself.

I think the US medicaid (?) system is a bit different to our medicare system here. But I don't get charged if I cancel my dr apt. Or....like I did a few weeks ago, completely forgot that I had an appointment til at that time. I rang an apologised. Just had to make another apt. Maybe it is different with the specialist?

I remember my question - yay. Does anyone wake up in the morning with swollen, sore fingers? Like arthritis I guess? I have not had this til recently. And I am not sure if it is because of medicine or age or because I am more susceptible to other issues. Through the day they are a little better. But morning is worse.

You're about fifteen hours ahead of where I am. So .. probably 14 - 16 hrs ahead of most folks in U.S.A. ?

Guess I was assuming you weren't going to make it through the movie :-)

I used to wake up with swollen, stiff and painful hands until literally about a month ago when I started taking 4000mg of fish oil everyday two in am and two in the pm to make that total and I don't have those symptoms anymore. Mine is from arthritis at the ripe old age of 44. I hope this helps a little. Oh yeah as a side benefit my mood has been much better as well.
Today I have only one appointment instead of the usual two or three so I'm looking forward to coming home and doing some of my crafts. It is a very warm 2 degrees here this morning getting up to around 20 today.
I have a quiet weekend planned so I'm going to be hanging around doing some more craft to get ready for a craft show coming up. Hope everyone has a beautiful Friday and weekend. Warm hugs coming your way.TT

Good morning JC and everyone. Thank you for the steak and eggs sounds so good. I think our setting should be a nice warm beach. So much different than the snow ice and 10 degree weather here. My days all run the same here too. I never know what day it is. Was supposed to have my myleogram and surgery today. Had to cancel because i have strep throat thanks to my nieces friend. Such a nice gift when in pain. So had to reschedule. :( Hope everyone has a low pain day. Am trully grateful for my ds family. Love to all. Angela

I've had times when only one appointment was a relief..
Strange how different life is than what we thought it would be.. isn't it? :-) :-)

I just got antibiotics yesterday after having a sore throat and earaches for quite a while. Yes.. it is quite the pits to be sick on top of the usual pain...I hope you get relief for that soon. ( have you tried gargling with warm as you can tolerate salt water? A touch of vinegar with that can help, too.?)

Good Morning! We got lots of snow here in VA yesterday so I was at home, watching the kids sled. This mornings breakfast is a Starbucks skinny vanilla macchiato. No plans for the weekend except mentally prepare for my spinal cord stimulator trial install Monday. I'm so excited but so nervous!!!

good morning Jancam and all....since we are on the beach I decided I would go surfing....so I been hanging ten this morning...my bed is my surfboard so I have been at it pretty good...LOL

I like the steak and eggs....I have some eggs here....thinking of making some hard boiled as I bought Tuna last night and can make a tuna salad pretty easy....yummie stuff...

I do have Saturday big plans...a friend of mine wrote a childrens book that was then something she got turned into a movie and Saturday morning it is premiering here and I have three ladies from my meetup group going with me to see Marshall The Miracle Dog....it is about an abused dog that helps a kid to overcome being bullied...my friend actually adopted Marshall after our Humane Society rescued him, he lost his left front leg and had a hole the size of baseball in side of his face but he is a great guy now in great home with my friend Cindy Willenbrock.....she is something of a friend anyway but if I told you just how I know her I would have to kill you...LOL

After that movie in morning 11am we will all go out for lunch someplace....then in evening I have another meetup with my group and about 30people total to see a church production of GodSpell.....it is free....so I have been looking forwards to this for long time...I absolutely loved GodSpell when the movie came out...the music makes connections for me to God in way that nothing else ever had...I just love all the songs in that musical....so that one will end with me going home to my big buddies who will have missed me for long day away from home....Tucker and Shep will get some extra loving in treats then bedtime for us all!

Sunday I have student 3pm but with the time change spring forward it means he will be driving in dark with headlights on....so I have to prepare for that part of the lesson....

sorry so long but I could not pass up telling you about Marshall the Miracle Dog.....I will meet him as Cindy will be at the theater we are going to....

Nessa I have had my phone set for Sydney weather for sometime because it is the closest I can get to our friend's Seek's weather. As I write this my phone shows you are 7:30Am. Hopefully still sleeping.
My fingers were that way when I was on a new blood pressure medicine. It was wrong for me and once changed it went away. Thankfully because it was very painfully. JC could be on to something with autoimmune.

TT nice to have just the one appointment today. You are young for arthritis. I am also curious on your crafts. I am not a crafter but am the recipient of my friends crafts. In my younger days I loved to create.

Angela I will take the beach and sand over snow any day. I am imagining those gentle waves lapping at my feet at this very moment. Also sun on my back. I would be content with 80 degrees. I hope you will let us know when you are scheduled for your myleogram and surgery. This is for your neck? Yes?

Pink I love Carmel Macchiato only I don't go skinny. It is a treat when I get one. Sending up those peace and good vibes for the SCS procedure.

Bill I do believe you have a busy weekend and it all sounds fun. Can't wait to hear about it. Everything except the part that you will have to kill me if you tell me. Tee hee.

I have been doing a little bit of nothing. Did watch a funny movie compliments of Dish. It was This Is Where I Leave You. A comedy and full of surprises.

I sold a coffee table this afternoon! Made $5 bought it from my buddy for $20 sold for $25 woot woot!
Guy buying hoisted it up to top of head then stumbled half falling into snow bank- leg came off table but not broken just came loose needs wood glue there is metal post going into leg and that was ok.

Great way to start your weekend Bill! $5.00 more in the pocket.

hippy it was just a mound of piled snow...no new...in fact is melting like crazy here in 40s today...most is going quickly and will be gone by sunday as tomorrow maybe 60 here...

I took mom out to Ocharlies tonight for prime rib lovers deal...12.99 each for two prime rib dinners with shared appetizer....I am full...the appetizer was tator tot fondue...yum and so many tator tots...wow...mom has another full meal and maybe even some left from that for tomorrow....she simply cant eat much anymore....but she likes taking home leftovers for the next meals....LOL
