Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Sure..it's not productive and changes nothing..
But..neither us anything else I'm able to do today. :-) :-)
( frustrated because I want t do some Spring cleaning that I'm not up to)
Thanks for the empathy, Michael..
Of course you know how I feel..
That's why we're all here..:-) :-)

So instead we give them h**l!
This isn't that thread.

it might give you some solace to know others are in same boat....I hear your screaming....!!!!
And it's cold and rainy here today too. That must be a sign that I'm supposed to lay on the couch and read all day.
Yup, we know how you feel.
I had tests done last month to figure out what's changing with my spine, because the pain is changing & getting deeper & sharper. It's also moving into places it wasn't before. Neuro hasnt reviewed them yet and its been over a month. Why must I battle with people I pay to do their jobs?? Urgh!
I can't sit or stand for more than a few minutes. I can barely hold my head up because my neck hurts. I feel like someone is kicking me in the head with steel-toed boots. My feet are so swollen they hurt just sitting much less walking. Nothing is helping. Not the change in RA meds. Not the increase in pain meds. Nothing.
Tomorrow is Easter and I haven't gotten my kid a single thing for his basket. Granted he's 14, but you're never too old for an Easter basket full of goodies. It's tradition. Tired of the guilt this pain seems to bring with it.
I'm gonna take another dose of meds & inhale some coffee to see if the caffeine helps kick the meds into gear. I have to get some sleep before I collapse (then it'll be yet another "lost" day). Less than 2hrs a night for the last few nights isn't cutting it. Being stabbed & kicked all night doesnt make for restful sleep. Migraines & pain exhaust me more than working a 12hr day. It takes more energy than I have to fight this pain lately.
No whining isn't productive & it doesn't solve anything. But it sure feels good to let it out sometimes. Otherwise it just bounces around your brain & makes you crazy. Thanks for letting me ramble & vent. Lord knows nobody in this house wants to hear it. They've made zoning me out an artform ;-)
I hope everyone has a happy day tomorrow whatever your plans are.
Emerald
But..I can't keep u with thgroups I'm already in.
Lynn and Emerald..
Thanks for joining me.
It's a relief to say how you're REALLy feeling sometimes, isn't it?
Hugs all
I feel like s##t and each hour is just getting worse.
I do have the doctors telling me, and now my husband, that I am not allowed to do housework at all, and no cooking. So if the house is a mess and the kitchen burns down, it is not my fault. LOL
Venting is good. ((((Hugs))))) all around.
It is SO good to hear that your husband is telling you not to do things you shouldn't be doing. He finally seems to understand.
Sorry you're having a rough time + a million, too, bud.
Hugs
No, what I meant was that the doctors are telling him. He is almost 70, he was willing to have a caregiver come in if the insurance paid for it, but if he had to pay for it, forget it. Nope I have to figure something out.
Life is just a box of chocolates :)
I guess that was too good to be true.
I hear you my purple fuzzy footed friend. All I wanted to do this weekend was get a few freaking plants in some pots...but it had to rain and the barometric pressure has to start bouncing up and down....
between the migraines and the damn legs not working and having to spend most of the weekend in the bathtub boiling my joints...i've accomplished absolutely nothing. and for the last 2 nights i've not managed to go to sleep until around 7:30 in the morning....
i'm having an uncle weekend too...then some idiot sent me an email with the, "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" crap...was so not in the mood for that, and pretty sure won't hear from that person again because the reply was not so nice at 4:30 this morning...
it's days like these that I really, really wish I could drink!
Hugs, Stephanie
Kat..
I'm sorry your day got so hard.
Sometimes that which doesn't kill you just makes you wish it would.
I hope everyone feels some degree of better tomorrow.
Hugs
