Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
thank you and thank you for handling the pain long enough to wright this for us... ~stinke~
As it is, I have no choice but to work as much as I am able. Even a little is too painful, but I do it. So I don't consider that a goal, but a necessity.
Anything else I manage to do is decided at the moment I do it. And that doesn't mean I'll be able to finish, anyway.
So, if I manage to take care of the clients I've dared to book then I will consider that a goal met. If it isn't a means of bringing in some money...it doesn't count.
I'm sorry if this sounds kind of angry or shallow...it's my reality.
It's been a while since you've been around, "stubborn" Terrie Ann, right? It's good to see you posting again!
Hugs,
Theresa
i don't mean this defensively, but just the nature in which it's intended and, i believe, used. as with all threads, they are completely voluntary and no one is guilted for not adding to a thread.
i respect all you've done with your life and your perspective. thanks!
TerrieAnn...
I absolutely agree with your " spin".....
Don't know if y'all have read the goal for....thread...but it's pretty much a goal - for -the moment thing.......and ...some moments...the goal is to just get to the next moment...I have spent the last three yrs mostly bedridden....I pat myself on the back for doing things I expect of my three yr old granddaughter....
I GET it....
I also feel that, if there are no more goals at all, ever...as my life has been for so long now.....I am only dying in slow motion...
Hugs n peace to all...jc
