Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Sorry you have added pain...doesn't seem fair, does it?

it's hard enough being in pain without the extra added pain.
thanks again,
how long have you been at the higher dose?
Ask your doc to order a neurontin level blood test. My level was 10.6 and a level of 11 is toxic.
And the weight gain was awful, still trying to drop that but figured if it was going to help I could learn to live with the extra weight.
Realize we all react to meds differently but sometimes you have to weigh the pros and cons. I know a couple of folks have said they went off for a while then started back at the lower doses with good results. Maybe you could try that.
i was to see the pain clinic, but they will only see you when you need your medications, 2 times a year if that.
thanks for replying,it has given me something to think about and maybe i should try lycria again.
Hope you figure it out soon.
I won't take this drug but know alot of people getting help from it....but that is such a high dose! I hope you can find something that has less side effects and helps you.
