I thought this was actually kind of funny because they do see me as a drug seeker. when all i can yell and scream at them is i just want it to go away. by all means hold the drugs until you figure out what the h e double hockey sticks is wrong... They very much do not like me.

Or, they put us on the bottom of the list for the fully understandable reason, that they have others who need care before we do. As much as I truly want to be seen, I understand that the man who came in with signs of a heart attack needs to be seen first, or the pediatric patient who has been throwing up for 12 hours and desperately needs fluids should be gotten to.
But does bother me, though, is that there have been times when I've waited patiently, gotten seen, and then when I've asked for other protocols besides Toradol and Decadron (and not narcotics) they don't want to hear about those either. If is truly sad that they don't seem to want to fully abort the headache.
