Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

I am so sorry and have said the same thing so many times. Let me tell you though, I have had 2-3 days where the pain has been there, but lower than usual. Many would say they feel bad,but to me it is an improvement. Hang on for those kind of days.
Until then, find a distraction. My main one is music from when I grew up. It brings back a lot of memories,

You're not alone with this. I think all of us have been where you are at one point or another.
Do you have fibro? Fibro will give you pain all over along with extreme fatigue. When I'm having a fibro flare, it's just as bad as the RSD pain, except all over. You may want to tell your doc about this all over pain. Maybe something like Lyrica might help.
In the meantime, try to hang in there! You know that this will pass and you'll feel better. It does always get better. CP is like a yo-yo. Sometimes you're up, then so quickly you're back down again. But you do always go up after the down.
Am I making sense? I'm not feeling well today, so I may be something crazy. Sorry.
Sandy
The point is find something to hang on to... big, little, infinitesimal, it doesn't matter, just make it yours. stake a claim, and ride out the bad, whether it's to the end of the day, or the next hour, or minute-by-minute. Besides, you're already doing the best thing of all... checking in with and hanging out with folks who get it and who care. As a friend of mine was fond of saying, "This too shall pass... It may pass like a kidney stone, but it WILL pass."
Wishing all the best, but at least the better, for you... and here's a quick chuckle I hope, it worked for me way back once upon a time...
The God of War rode forth one day
Upon his favorite filley
"I'm Thor!" he cried!
The horse replied,
"Forgot the thaddle, thilly!"
