Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
i hope you don't sink into the dark blues -
strangely that is one of my meditation words...so i hope you see some lighter blues today
sky blue, blue birds, cornflower blue, turquoise blue, blue seas, blue skies coming our way, nothing but blue skies from now on...(i'm singing on tune - ha!!)
hugs and hope!
Then, just to add insult to injury, I had to come down with cancer and spend my whole summer - my favortie time of year because it usually means I can spend most days riding my horse - in bed dealing with the side affects of treatemnts. Instead of just haveing to have help gettiing my horse saddled and unsaddled, I now have to use a lawn chair to sit next to him to brush him - I don't have the energy to even just sit on him. It has been more than a month since I have felt good enough to be active for more than ten minutes at a time or to get though a whole day without a three hour nap.
It is very fustrating that when I have my chronic pain under control, I still don't have the energy to DO anything!!!!
I was on Plaquenil for about 17 years, and I understand the 'weakness' you are talking about. Your mind is ready, but your body fails you.
Unfortunately, Plaquenil is the 'go-to' drug for lupus. It's one of the most useful ones. But it comes with side effects too. You just have to weigh whether or not the s.e.'s are worth it. They were for me. I didn't realize how well it helped until I stopped it a few times.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
Don't forget 'The Moody Blues'....my favorite 'blue'

Yes exhaustion = frustration! Meds and the body experiencing what it is experiencing wear us out.
I'm feeling just like you.....you are not alone! Now where have I heard that before? ;)
Serenity..you have me thinking all the blues now..
Blue Eyes
Blubonnett..
Blue Bayou..........
Sandy....you crack me up...:-) :-) :-)
Shoes..thanks for the reminder..where have we heard that? :-) :-)
Hugs, all...jc
i have to say i know exactly what your going thru, because friend, i am feeling the same way... cant really explain why, but i do...
i also have been searching endlessly for the reason why.. everything from pain, to meds, to season changes, to emotions....
when you figure it out, let me know, so i can follow in your footsteps....

Hope this is like most side effects and works it's way out of the system. Here are the most used natural energy boosters that I know of. And I've used them, I'm the weirdo that's never had a cup of coffee, can't stand the taste, and has a caffeine free diet.
Vit. B12
Ginseng
L-Carnitine
Green Tea Extract

You could also try the sublingual (under the tongue) Vit. B12 tablets. These are found otc in the vitamin section and pretty cheap. I know people who swear by them. Personally, I have tried ginseng, and I thought they did give me some energy.
I hope you can find something that works for you soon.
Hugs,
Lori
How about trying a teaspoon of honey? For some reason honey has energy producing properties. Couldn't hurt, right? That is, unless you have an allergy to honey!
I can also wake up feeling exhausted when there's alot of drama going on. Emotional hangovers are killers for me!
Whatever it is, I hope it passes soon. Hugs dear friend, Dianna
