Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I have wicked muscle spasms, worst in the right side of my neck.
How did they get you to where you are now, technically speaking?
welcome to our group for one. I don't know what cervical dystonia quite is. I know it has to do with the neck area obviously, but that's about it. i will look it up so i have a better idea of what you're talking about.
I'm sorry you've had to go through so much suffering, but am glad that you decided to finally try the surgeries and put yourself in God's hands basically. I have had both cervical & lumbar surgeries, C6/7 twice, L 3/4, L 4/5, L5 S1, all twice, some laminectomies, some discectomies, have permanent nerve damage, scar tissue crushing nerves and finally had pain pump put in to help with some of the pain.
Just wanted to let you know that i could relate a little to your pain and frustration and finally giving it over to Gods hands and trial surgeries because you were in so much pain you would have done anything to ease it. I'm just so glad that it helped a little and that you got some relief, hold your head straight and have a somewhat normal life ( (whatever that happens to be for you) for all of us, it's different.
you'll meet some great people here with great information, who are caring and kind and can help when you really feel like no one else seems to understand what you are going through. i know they have become some of my best friends who have helped me through some really tough times.
so again, welcome, and i hope to get to know you better in the near future!!
hugs,
