Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
so you are definitely not alone.
My doctor says i should learn how to pace myself but when you have 3 kids it's hard to pace.
Today the pain levels have being high and nothing much has being around here but alot of resting.
Sometimes we think this easy and then after doing it it's like oh i shouldnt done that.
But the next day of over doing it i'm resting most of the day.
Oh, yeah, I have definitely overdone it, especially when you get on the right dosage of meds and all of a sudden you feel like you 'used to' when you were in your 20 to 30's and could clean your whole house and go out and get down on your hands and knees in your garden and pull weeds. Not that I have done the latter, (I have found one of those seats you sit on when your gardening, it's the bomb!), but, I have absolutely compromised myself with the housework thing. Oh, and I have gone outside and cut limbs off trees...but, trust me, you STILL feel it the next day, and pain meds or not, you do pay.
But, I'm like everyone else, I'm just not ready to lie down and die or be an invalid just yet. I just do the best I can and have learned to even out the house work from day to day, as well as utilize my son to help with chores.
God bless to all, and many pain free days!

I changed the tire on my truck yesterday even though I have family that would have been happy to do it for me...
I just get so tired of feeling "helpless"...
I think it makes me feel alive to do the things that I know I shouldn't, especially if said things are for a loved one...
I love my flower gardens. I go out every night when I am able and relax in my flowers, yes I'm weeding and tending, but in a way it is also my therapy I guess.
