Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Love and gentle hugs,
Jenna
Lyrics is not a quick acting med so I'm confused when you said you woke up and took it for pain relief. You need to take that as scheduled to get relief. You might want to talk to the doc about resetting everything. Taper off all these meds and see what is going on. You might find that you are suffering more from the side effects than anything.
Good luck today with doc. Remember he's your partner and you need to work together.
does that explain everything Tigg, I dont understand why you are confused
proud of you for still being smoke free and also still looking for an answer. keep us posted
Good Luck,
Joanne

First, I congratulate you on quitting smoking because it is a bear to quit and I know you can do it my friend!! ((((((((((( ))))))))))))))
Second, yes, unfortunately peripheral vascular disease is very painful and can be a secondary effect of many years of smoking unfortunately. It affects veins and arteries. I want you to know that if it turns out that this is what is going on then you need better pain management because you deserve it hun and what you are on right now is not enough as evidenced by the pain waking you up in the middle of the night. Keep us posted as you can hun and please know I am going to say a prayer for you...you aren't alone...we are here.. I am glad you let us know what is going on...I had wondered what was happening with you!! ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))
