I had a day from hell, we had a family BBQ that landed on my shoulders and I am a type of person when I have people over even if it is family my house has to be clean so I started at 7am and cleaned till 5pm non stop while watching a 4 year old. I was so sick to my stomach I wanted to throw up and was really worried I would.
I have to learn to step back and say I can not do all of that anymore, it is my family and they dont care if my kitchen floor is clean or that I made two home made cakes from scratch.
My hubby found me eating my corn outside by myself just watching that bird it was so relaxing after the day I had.
Good on you!
We had quite a storm last night and I worried about the poor little things. Vermont doesn't usually see tornadoes, but we had a warning for several hours and some were spotted just a few miles from me.
Most of the time I don't mind living alone, but another person in the house would have been a comfort during the storm.
Last night was a nightmare for him, therefore torture for me.
Hope everyone at DS is safe this morning.
All is calm this morning as far as the weather goes, but it feels like there's a tornado in my neck and back. I've taken meds sooner than I usually do between doeses, but I have no choice...work!
Hugs...always gentle
Thanks for sharing. They should bottle this feeling.
I work and run my own business, I bake all sorts of things to serve in my salon every day and I take care of 3 dogs and a cat. I do all of that with pain that brings me close to tears sometimes.
Then I look at my cluttered house and get so depressed that I can't take on the project of sorting and cleaning because I have nothing left to give.
I am as productive as my body allows...and it hurts!
