Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
There is another one:
have someone put a couple pebbles in their shoes. They have to keep them on all the time and never take them off no matter how much pain.
It will give them a slight idea becauses they still have the knowlesge that it will eventually be over. And that makes it different from our situation.
Opps, I see that you mentions that last part already. Shoulda known you'd think it thru all the way. So sorry!!!!
We understand each other much better than I realize at times. It is so good to be here with people who understand.
I like the "pebbles in the shoe" idea.
Hugs,
Carrie
