To be honest this isn't a problem. Many studies show that sexual pleasure can actually relieve pain. Is it possible that the medications you take are the real problem?

I actually have multiple problems with the sexual aspect of being a CPer. If I don't take my pain meds, I am in a lot of pain and sometimes it is just too much. If I take my pain meds then sometimes, I have taken too many and I can't do anything anyways. I always run a very fine line of what to do. There are many times that I just can't do it, and hope and pray that Don will understand. Sometimes he does and sometimes he runs a guilt trip on me. It is a very difficult time.

yes and can I tell you I finely found a Physician who asked me this question instead of ignoring the obvious. I have nerve damage in my pelvic floor muscles so not only do I have problems with my bladder over filling I also cannot empty my bladder. As for sex well it has been a huge issue but my spouse has been very understanding. I am almost to the point where I am afraid to have sex because of really painful muscle spasms, and fear of incontinence (TMI)

as for me, He doesn't make any effort, we obviously are never on the same page. so once in a blue moon, I feel bad and ask him, but he never wants to. so I guess its all the better for me. lol

Yes, sometimes. Without going into to much detail what I do about it is try different positions that are less painful. I've also experienced problems from some of the medications that I take making things difficult.

Tipper you crack me up! I have the problem of the pain being in "that" region so its often very painful for me! Let alone feeling well enough to even bother! And, unfortunately my disability and everything revolving around it has prevented me from having a successful relationship for a while now. I've settled is what I've done and after a couple years of fighting to get him to be a man and keep a damn job, I finally gave him the boot!!!! Gone are the days when I settle for a man that happily mooches off a lady on disability! He may of been there everyday so if I needed something or didn't feel good, he was there to help, but after a while... it sickened me to think that I was supporting a 39 year old man with my itsy bitsy disability income!
So, I guess Im ok with no sex life! The pain makes it not worth while most of the time, but I do agree that sex is a pain reliever!!! An orgasm certainly has had that affect on me in the past...I'll continue my quest for a man that can keep a job, pay his bills, understand my disabilities and is patient enough to wait for a "good" pain day to get some action! LOL!

Sex is one of the greatest cures for pain ever invented!! Whooohooooo! When I was in the most pain, my husband would say, "You need some sexual healing!"...then proceed to give me some.LOL Sex actually did take a lot of the pain...or else, it felt so damn good I could've cared less if my head was falling off for a while. So, it's a win/win situation as far as I am concerned. (Now that I have to do without it, I am reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally suffering succotash.*sob*)

Me....what the heck is sex?? My husband has given up on me! I tried but hubby knows it hurts and it makes it unpleasant then for him because he knows its hurting me.
