Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'm also Ukrainian-3rd generation here in the US. It's nice to meet you!
What kind of pain do you have? Is it more than expected? Burning, stabbing? Sensitive to touch?
Why I ask is that I developed RSD after an ankle fracture. It is neurogenic pain. I had a Spinal Cord Stimulator placed in October that has greatly reduced my pain.
If you are curious, you can google RSD or CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome). You may get an answer. Let us know.

An orthopedic surgeon gave me a decent treatment plan but the damage was done by then.
