Remember...you had this whether it was diagnosed or not...so, maybe you'll get some help with it now that it is. Sometimes, knowledge is power.

Thanks JC. At least my dad doesn't think I'm full of shit anymore. I just got off the phone with him and he was being really nice. My dad means the world to me.

I am just so bummed. I was hoping it was nothing and just fibro pain, but now I know.

You're right, knowledge is power! My rheumatoid doc that said I have fibro rx'ed me lyrica, but it hasn't gotten in the mail to my pharmacy yet. I'm on Nucynta for the pain and that helps a lot... I'm just so sick of pills!

I have it. Had it for decades now. It really is not as bad as it seems once you get over the shock.

I know how you feel, its like watching a snowball roll down a hill as it gets bigger and bigger. I have an appointment with neurologist in August.

I am so sorry about your news. I just saw a physical therapist and he read my cat scan to me, after I told him what I was feeling and going through. I apparently have Stenosis of the spine, Degenerative disc disease and one other issue that I can't remember at the moment. I did not know we could get arthritis on the spine! Maybe an MRI shows more then a cat scan because my doctor wants to do an MRI next. I have arthritis in my neck but I really didn't know we could get it in the spine! I am so sorry to hear that. What I get tired of hearing is when I have a symptom my doctors say: It's your Fibromyalgia.. Everything? Come on...Hang in there hon....
